PROMYS Pathways Summer Program
The PROMYS Pathways Summer Program is a specialized math enrichment initiative designed for high school students around the Greater Boston area, especially those from high-needs districts or low-income backgrounds. The program provides an immersive experience focused on developing mathematical problem-solving skills, encouraging critical thinking, and fostering a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. Through engaging activities, collaborative projects, and mentorship from experienced educators, students are empowered to explore challenging mathematical ideas in a supportive environment. PROMYS Pathways aims to inspire students to pursue further studies in mathematics and related fields while building a strong sense of community and confidence in their academic abilities.
PROMYS Pathways Math Circles provide students with an opportunity to explore exciting and challenging mathematical topics throughout the school year. Meeting regularly during the school year, the circles offer a space where high school students can come together to engage in deep mathematical thinking and problem-solving. Facilitated by knowledgeable educators and mentors, these sessions encourage collaborative exploration of concepts that go beyond the standard classroom curriculum. The Math Circles are designed to cultivate a love for mathematics, boost students' confidence in their abilities, and build a sense of belonging within a community of peers who share their passion for learning and discovery. PROMYS Pathways also runs a Virtual Math Circle that students can attend online.
